I lost my mobile (Motorola) along with the Air tel sim bearing No. 8991400000088203276, Pack Code AB02005071127 & Mobile No. 9840317317 on 25.04.2009 and I have also given Police Complaint for the loss. When I went to the Airtel customer care Office at Nungambakkam for a duplicate sim along with necessary documentary proof for address and identity I was told that the sim is not in my name and hence cannot be deactivate my sim and give a duplicate sim. As I am having important account numbers etc., I need my sim with the same number.
Kindly do the needful and advice me to take a right action to get duplicate sim with the same number i.e. 9840317317.
