My pan card # is AWRPK7460R. I have lost my PAN card in Jan. Since then I have made applied 3 times for the PAN application (for same PAN card (Change request)).
My first pan card was rejected because I have ticked all the boxes in change request form. (I had to tick only 1 for Address), in 2009
My second request was rejected because "Name as appeared in card " is not correct. (Acknowledgement no. 881020202565915) in Jan
After that I called to TIN call center, I was told that you re-apply the PAN card and write an application along with that stating that payment for new application is to be adjusted with old form
3. I have applied 3rd time. I cross checked all the details, attached all the documents and send the application (Acknowledgement no.881010202842302 I did not get any response till 20 days, I called TIN call center they told me that they have received the documents along with identity proof (Driving Licence), certificate of employment (Address proof). but they did not receive application regarding adjustment of payment nor did they receive any other acknowledgement letter (881020202565915 my previous acknowledgement # attached with the same document). I was asked to send the all the documents again)
On May 20th I got the mail that my application (Acknowledgement no. 881010202842302) is rejected due to non payment of fees.
On May 21st I got the mail that my application (Acknowledgement no. 881020202565915) is rejected due to error in "Name as appeared in card " is not correct.
I again called the TIN call center on May 22, 3:40 PM, Mr. Varun (TIN Call center executive), first told me that the since I have raised a new request (81010202842302) I need to pay again, He put me on hold and consulted with his supervisor and confirmed again that payment cannot be adjusted against any previous application.
When I gave him the acknowledgement for my previous form (881020202565915). He told me that the payment can be adjusted but I have to send the application AGAIN.
