I had purchased Paints and Hardware related material 10 days ago from a retailer in NOIDA. His details are as below:

My purchase included 3 litres of Berger Enamel Paint. Paint has a manufactured date of Feb and was sold to me for a higher price than the MRP mentioned. The original MRP was scratched with a blue pen. After the paint containers were opened it was found that all boxes had a deposit of paint at the bottom. Even though painter tried to rectify the consistency was unable to do so.
I called R.S. Rana Proprietor Manoj Traders, he did not attend 3-4 calls. Then he answered and conveyed that I would need to leave all the containers at his shop and he would not replace any of those containers on same day. I was communicated that there will be a written complaint that needs to be filed with Berger Paints Ltd. and gave me the address where I need to take the spurious paint containers (Berger Paints - B-20, Sec 3 NOIDA).
Retailer is not willing to take the containers back which I feel is odd for a consumer who has to now ask the painter to visit once the paint containers have been replaced and for which there is no replacement timeline.
Seeking your help in this regard so that I get the money back from Manoj Traders and I am compensated for the amount I had to pay the Painter for that day and waste of time.
