Number Portability

Concerned Authorities,

I have been wanting to use the Number Portability which is part of service offered to facilitate the citizens by the Government. However, we are unable to use this service, due to complete non-cooperation from our service provider, which has forced me to write below mentioned email (after all the requests made by us to LOOP since past 2 months. Yet we stand today with no result)

As mentioned, I have been requesting LOOP for past 2 months but no one seems to reply correctly. I have been made to run from Pillar to Post with no fault of mine and to date with no reply from LOOP. This has now become harassment to me.

I would like to State the Facts of My case and am here asking for Justice:

1) We have been Loop users for number of years but Bad Network, Call Drops, Connection Errors has forced us to move to other service provider. HOWEVER LOOP IS NOT ALLOWING US TO SHIFT

2) For all these years we have NEVER DEFAULTED NOR HAVE DELAYED ANY PAYMENTS TO LOOP. And for this LOOP has given us the status of PLETINUM member, HOWEVER WE ARE IN NO WAY TREATED LIKE PLETINUM MEMBERS

3) We have already applied 3 TIMES to LOOP for releasing our numbers. Every time our application is rejected with different reasons. Reasons like contractual obligation, (where as we have NO contractual obligation). Sometime they say NON Payment (whereas, WE HAVE NEVER DELAYED, NOR DEFAULTED ANY PAYMENT IN YEARS, AND THAT’S WHY WE ARE PLETINUM MEMBERS)

4) Lastly I was asked to submit a letter, which also has been submitted. Attached is the copy – YET NOTHING FROM LOOP.

5) Below mentioned is ALSO the trail of email I have exchanged with Loop

NOW The New thing:

Since they have nothing left to say,

My Last Email (as mentioned in below chain) in not answered by LOOP and Since last 2 days my relationship manager (9870200010) is not answering my calls. I called

1) Yesterday at 10.09 AM (6th March)

2) Today at 3.08 PM. But no answer. (7th March)

We are just been knowingly ignored and delayed and being harassed for no reason. After applying 3 times to LOOP, Even now we are still in the dark and am just being taken for a ride with ABSOLUTELY NO FAULT OF OURS. This is what we are getting in return from LOOP for being Prompt Pay Masters & Genuine Customers.

I really would like to know if there is something like number portability and can we use that service? As per the behavior of my service provider (LOOP) I don’t think they are willing to release my number.

If there is Number Portability I would like to know what more should I be doing to avail this facility for my numbers mentioned in the attached letter.
