I bought a new Vodafone POST PAID connection around 10 days ago. After the activation call, i was told that it would be active within 48 hrs but 4 DAYS later still nothing. when i call Vodafone call center for help those idiots Firstly don't understand a simple thing that i bought a NEW POST PAID connection and all the 3 people i spoke to keep saying that Portability takes around 7 days to get activated. The first one disconnected the call, The Second one transferred the call to new connections department without informing me about the transfer or the other party about the problem at all... the new conn guy says please call 111 or 198 which according to him was a common number for all mobile service providers!!! and even if i call from my Airtel number (which i was using to call them) it would go to Vodafone as well..!!! how Numb in the brain can one go!!! now they say there is no department which can help me and i have to go to a Voda showroom to get this resolved... which is the exact thing i didn't want to do - waste my time...!!! i want to know - isn't it the responsibility of Vodafone to get the SIM activated with hassel to the consumer... why does one simple thing like activation take ages and worse to rectify it even longer...!!! can someone help me out please.
