I have been using the Aritel Prepaid Mobile (97410XXXXXX in Bangalore) since 2010 Oct, and the issues I am facing is that Airtel is requesting for Address proofs again and again. And my incoming & outgoing calls, messages everything blocked.
So i called from my friend mobile to customer care (they deduct 0.50 paise / 3 mins) and gave my address details and recovered my number again. Again i got a message after 3 weeks "your address proof and id proof are not matched with our database and your connection ll be deactivated".
My question is why is Airtel requesting for the ID & Address proofs again and again?
My friends also facing the same issue and customer care deduction 0.50 paise / 3 mins (new business in airtel). So we are plan to change other services instead of continuing with this nonsense. We are using Airtel past 6 years in Tamil Nadu. We haven't faced these kind of issues there. We were disappointed a lot and move to other good services.
