Bad service & non payment of refund

I booked a hotel in Ooty (Sapphire Grand) for 3 nights through makemytrip. They took the entire payment through credit card in advance. However, when I called up the hotel for confirmation, the hotel denied of any such booking.

After frequent follow up with makemytrip, they acknowledged their mistake and I decided to cancel the booking. In all this almost 10 days were wasted.

Subsequently, I was promised that the payment of refund will be done soon. However, its been more than 12 days and I have still not received my money back.

All the officials at makemytrip as very apologetic, however, no one is able to confirm when the money will be paid back.

The whole experience has been disgusting and I would never recommend makemytrip to anyone.
