I had a hotel booking with makemytrip in Bangalore for 13-15 June, after which I called to postpone on 13th noon to 16-18th June. I was told that if the Hotel agrees then it may be done otherwise it will be considered as a no show. I was put on hold and the support person connected with the hotel staff and got my booking postponed and sent the voucher to me.
I arrived at the hotel on 16th after a lengthy car trip only to be told they have no reservation in my name, I showed them the voucher and they reconfirmed that they did not have a postponed booking my name.
After spending close to 2 hours on makemytrip support line, explaining my situation 5 times, being put on hold and being told that it has been taken care I was told to make a payment on my own and makemytrip would refund it. No confirmation mail of this kind was sent to me. I have contacted MMT multiple times over the past week receiving no updates except incompetent customer support people giving incorrect information.
