Horrible Experience with MakeMyTrip

I booked a trip through MakeMyTrip (hotel flight) on 22nd Dec (booking ID NP2802423829815). The travel date was 3rd Jan & I was supposed to travel with my wife & infant child. I got the mail confirmation of booking where that contained my hotel voucher & was written that the flight itinerary will be mailed shortly. When I didn't receive the flight tickets by 28th Dec, I tried contacting the company & raised my query online. Also I visited their Kolkata office, but didn't get any resolution. I also spoke to a representative in Gurgaon from their Kolkata office landline, but didn't receive any call back, as promised.

Suddenly on 2nd Jan morning, I got a mail from them saying "due to technical reasons your booking is not confirmed". My travel date was 3rd & I made all the arrangements. I had to re-plan & went to Thailand instead on my own, with my infant son.

My fault was I ignored the advice of two of my colleagues, who went through similar experiences. I trusted a company, who proclaims to be the best, but the experience was horrible. Want to let others know about this & think 100 times before doing any transaction through MakeMyTrip.
