Offered i year validity, Now they are not giving the same

Dear all,

We have an Airtel DTH (HD) connection (Customer ID No. 3007091140 and registred phone number is 09947448122) in Kozhikode, Kerala state, Due to my stay in Bangalore, I couldn't recharge the same for last 6 to 8 month. On 20.02.12 I came back and recharged with Rs.200.

On 24.02.2012 (around 6.30) I got a call from a customer care officer and she verified the account name and my registered mobile number also asked the non-recharge reason.

She also informs me that, Airtel have given a special offer to me. The validity of the offer is 2 days. The offer is, if I recharge with Rs.546 I will get 6 month validity or if I recharge with Rs.1092 I will get 1 year validity. So I recharged with Rs.1092 on 25.02.2012 (TR 119964777 X13829366710225195247) but not get the offered validity.

So I contacted to your customer care officer to instruct him to register a complaint on 25.02.12. The concerned person replied me to wait for 48 hour to get the offer. After the 48 hour I once gain contacted your customer care officer and they replied to wait another 24 hour. On 29.02.2012 one of your customer care officer told me that, the concerned person will contact me with in 6pm on 01.03.2012. but not get any call from your side. So I once again contacted your customer care officer and he told me that, the concerned person will contact me with 10 pm on 01.03.2012. But nobody contacted me and once again I contacted your customer care office. One of your customer care officer pick the phone and told me they have not yet received any complaint from my side.

Finally, one of your customer care officer contacted me that, they wrongly paas the offer to me. it is their mistake. So I requested to refund the rachrge amount and he agreed. But nobody

taken any action to refun the amount. I discussed the details with my advocate and instructed to claim the amount with interest. So I send a mail on 14th March requesting to refund the amount with interest.

On 18th march one of your customer care officer contacted and inform me that they have trnasfered the amount to the agent (I think named OCR). So I went the agent (It is more than 20km far away from my location). He (Mr. Salam mob: 09961231457) told me that he has not received the amount from your account.

On 22nd march I once agin went there and he confirm that he got the amount. but the amount is only Rs.1064.70.

Please note that I have paid Rs.1102 (Rs.1092 Rs.10 as commission) on 25.02. to the agent and I also calimed the amount with interst.

Why should I bear the loss for the mistake of the Airtel Customer care officer? They already accepts that it is your mistake.

Actually I don’t know their problem. I have a proof for all the discussions with them (My phone automatically records all the voice calls and also records the date and time).

So please take care on this matter and do the steps to get the amount with interest.
