I had purchased a ticket from GoAir from their website. Due to some reasons, I had to cancel my journey. I cancelled my ticket and was expecting a refund. GoAir didn't give any refund, but only provided with a credit voucher. This is a malpractice and forces one to fly on the same airlines.
Repeated request to the airlines had no effect as they said that they don't refund money in case of cancellation. I kept on pestering them but of no use.
At Last I sent an email to DGCA, and lodged a complaint against the airline. It took another 6 months for me to get my money back.
I advise all passengers not to buy tickets from GO Air website. Instead buy tickets from other websites like Yatra, cleartrip etc as they are very prompt with their refunds
