Lost Goods from luggage

During My Flight KUWAIT-SHARJA-CALICUT (Departure 16/11/10 18:25- Arrival 17/11/10 03:25) I lost expensive mobile phone and some small items from my luggage.

I already complained to Calicut Office (YMCA) but they are telling I should complain from Airport itself. How I will come to know this Item is stolen without checking. If they are not giving compensation and not taking these robberies seriously, this will continue. Company is cheating passengers by this.
