Attitude by the staff

I called safdarjung city office of Air India to re route my ticket booked on Air India to US... I was told by the operator that i have to personally come and do the needful. i asked him in today's time why not on phone as the website is unfriendly... he told me that the staff never picks up the phone thats why he suggested. I wanted to make this complaint.that too at the time of national pride like common wealth games, our national carrier is so pathetic and useless to count on.
