Subject: Request for wavier of amount added in the bill of August’2010 for Meter No. JC31/0314.

In this connection it is brought to your kind notice that sum of Rs.105366.00 Has been added in the bill of August’2010.The matter was enquired from your office and it was reported that our account for the period of Sept09 to Dec’09 has been over-hauled by the audit on the basis of average consumption recorded by new meter at current period, which is wrong and unjustified.
In this connection I submit that this site was purchased by me on 12, January’2010 (Copy of related document attached herewith.). Before the purchase of this site, this meter was recording reading as per detail mentioned below:

After purchasing this site, I let it out on rent on 11, Feburary’2010 (Copy of Rent agreement attached herewith). No doubt the consumotion of this meter after 11.2.2010 has increased as per requirement of tenent and he is regularly paying bills.
Charging amount for the past, year back, on the basis of current average consumption is not justified as the meter was replaced due to burnt.
Keeping in view the facts & circumstances explained above, the case may kindly be reviewed and amount charged for last year on current average consumption should be withdrawn.
