Dear IFB team,
this is a grievance regarding poor handling of service issue.
I purchased an IFB microwave (30SC3) and had booked for demonstration on 12th Mar.
Your representative by name of Mr. Sharma (Mob no. 9988821786) had visited the residence on Monday, 14th Mar and after a short demo started pitching microwave accessories towards the purpose of selling. He even went to the extent of saying that demo visits are chargeable in whcih we provide these items as gifts (microwave cover and cleaning material).
Pse note that no bill has been provided towards the same to us till date even after speaking, neither have our signature been taken towards acknowledgement of receipt.
I'm still unable to make out whether the person you send at my residence was a technical representative or a salesman who's only aim is to induce sale.
Mr. Sharma is not taking the calls either. On Tuesday, 15th Mar I spoke to the Call center which gave me the reference of Ms. Poonam Mehendiratta. Speaking to Ms. Poonam was a shocking experience who instead of listening completely started justifying her salesman.
She blamed that your wife should not have purchased that product and nobody forced her to pay. Regarding the bill she told that your wife didn't ask for the bills otherwise we provide the bills next day. On being told that I don't require the products mis sold by your representative and to take it back, she told we'll do that but you'll have to come to our office with the product to get your refund or alternately my representative will come only next day (16 Mar) as he's deployed in another area and she disconnected the phone line.
Are we running an IFB Kiryana store or IFB service centre at Ludhiana?
My request to you is to segregate the sale and service issues. Had I shown any keen ness to purchase any other, your representative w'd have come running for the same day. Ms. Poonam continues to avoid my phone calls and hasn't acted on her assurances either.
Pse do the needful so as to avoid further escalation of this case and counsel Ms. Poonam to behave with proper business etiquettes.
