I purchased an adidas T-Shirt from BagItToday on 2-Jun.

On 3-Jun, I received a call from BagITToday informing me that I won some lucky draw and in that I am getting diamonds worth 60K Blackberry mobile for Rs/- 18999. I asked the details about the diamonds and they said its VVS1 Quality, D Color, 10 * 6 cent, Excellent Cut pure Indian diamond. I'll also receive a certificate from AGS. After confirming from my friends about what would be the value of this diamonds I thought of going ahead with the offer.

On 6-Jun, I got a call again from BagITToday and I finally went ahead and booked my order.

This order was booked on telephone. Booking ID is 8805050508.

To my surprise instead of debiting Rs/- 18999 they debited Rs/- 24999.

I immediately called customer care and they were not ready to entertain my complain instead they asked me to send a mail to [email protected]. I sent that email but got no response on that day.

On 7-Jun, I got a call from BagItToday informing me that I am selected in another luck draw or something and only 5 people from India are selected for this offer. In this offer I will be getting a 100% assured cash gift of either 1 lakh, 3 lakh, 5 lakh, 10 lakh or 20 lakh.

For this they asked me to pay Rs/- 43999 and that amount will be 100% refunded no matter whether I will the first prize or the last prize and this refund was supposed to be done in next 3-4 days.

I asked them to cancel my yesterday's order, i.e. 8805050508 and then I'll go ahead with this one as there is no purchase involve in this.

They kept me on mute for sometime and then I received an email from a personal email ID [email protected] informing that my order is cancelled. The agent verbal confirmed that my amount will be refunded in 24-48 hrs. He also gave a reasoning that their mail server is not working so he sent the email from his personal email Id.

In all this conversation they mentioned atleast 20 times that I need not worry about anything as this is "India Today Group".

Assuming that my yesterday's order was cancelled, I went ahead with the transaction of Rs/- 43999. In this thing they asked me to transact this for diamonds, lotto shoes, goggles, T-shirts and what not. But they ensured that nothing will be delivered to my door step and they will block the transaction and this amount will be used as a safety deposit for that luck draw.

This transaction was done in 2 chucks of Rs/- 21999 each.

After making the transaction, I went ahead and searched on internet about BagItToday. This thing I should have done before making the transaction. I found that there were more than 20 complaints about the same diamonds 6 packs and lucky draw of 20 lakhs.

So I went ahead and asked them to cancel the orders on the same day, i.e. 7-Jun. But they again asked me to send mail to [email protected].

I went ahead and sent the email to

There was no response from any of this emails.

So finally I called them again on 9-Jun and asked the agent to cancel all the orders.

On 10-Jun I got a reply from [email protected] telling that for my booking Id 1006560002 invoice No. 150576 has already generated and they cannot cancel the order. They will deliver the goods and I need to refuse to accept the parcel if I wish to cancel it.

I sent them an email and even called them asking to stop the shipment and cancel the order their itself as they promised me that nothing will be shipped to my place. But they rejected my request and said they don't have any control on the order once the invoice is generated.

On 13-Jun, received an email from [email protected] informing that my order for Booking id- 1006560002 is dispatched and for the other orders they have raised the complaint to cancel the orders.

On 14-Jun, received an email from [email protected] informing that my order for Booking Id - 8805050508 is cancelled. And for the remaining orders they have raised the complaint to cancel the orders. On the same day recceived the email informing me that the refund number for cancelled order is 5707 and the amount will be credit in my account in 1-2 weeks.

On 17-Jun, called BagIiToday and asked the executive about the status of cancellation for Booking IDs -

1006557816. He said the order is not yet cancelled its under cancellation process and it will take 21 days to refund the amount.

On 18-Jun, received an email from [email protected] informing that my order for Booking ID - 1006557816 is in process and I'll receive it in 21 days. Inspite of sending more than 12 emails and calling them on daily basis they are not able to cancel the orders, instead they are informing me that they'll ship the order.

To Summarize the whole story, I request BagITToday to cancel the following orders and refund my amount before 3-July as I made all my transactions through credit card and my credit card due date is 4-Jul.

If the amount is not credit then I have to go through all sorts of credit card charges.

So please expedite the cancellation and refund process.
