I would like to complain against Tikona. I had taken a new connection of 4Mbps unlimited on 8th October. But from day 1 I was not receiving speed more than 1 - 1.5 Mbps. On contacting several times to customer care I was assured that there might be a feasibility issue of receiving 4Mbps connection in my area in which scenario full money will be refunded.
Then 3 times technician came to our house to check feasibility but there was no improvement. Finally, after lot of follow-ups with customer care, disconnection request was taken. Then, we received a call from disconnection team that they will again send a technician again. Technician came and reported the same to disconnection department that there is no feasibility for 4Mbps connection. Disconnection team then asked us to move to 2 Mbps but we asked them to disconnect.
Finally on 16th October, they disconnected our connection. We were assured that within 45 days money will be refunded. After 45 days when we contacted customer care regarding the status, after 10 rounds of discussion and explaining the same history to around 5 CC representatives. I received a comment that Refund department had said as I had voluntarily requested for disconnection they will not refund. Again full history was explained to the floor manager, I was assured that another Technician will come to check the feasibility. In case there is no feasibility, I will be refunded. Last conversation with the floor manager happened on Mid of November. But still there is no update to Tikona.
Can you please help me out how I can reach Consumer Court and lodge a complaint against Tikona for harassing customers by not providing services as promised and false assurance of refunds?
