This incident happened on 11th April in HAL market area in Bangalore around 1pm.
I went to the shop called "Sri Manjunath Xerox" and asked the shopkeeper named "saajid" a bottle of Coke (200ml), when i started to sip it, there was no fizz in it. when i told him to replace it with another one the shopkeeper says it is impossible because it is opened, or else i will have to pay for the second bottle, which sounds ridiculous, when a defective product is served to a consumer and it is brought into notice it should be replace at no extra cost. But nothing could move the adamant/arrogant shopkeeper as he kept on saying that the company (coca cola) will not pay him for the replacement and its merely my bad luck, and finally I had to pay for the Coke which I hardly drank. I feel cheated, money is not the issue here though, I am more concerned about the way the multinational companies are taking the customers for a ride. I feel cheated. concerned authorities please do something so that other consumers do get cheated like this.
