SUB: ERROR IN COMPUTING SIXTH CPC PENSION ARREARS OF PPO No.462959903113-REG
REF: More than 10 representations to the local branch and as well to Main branch Chennai since November.
I am a retiree from Madras Atomic Power Station, Department of Atomic Energy, Kalpakkam.
Prorata pensioner from 1998 and receiving only Basic Pension of Rs.4599/- as reemployed in the same department. (No DP & DA paid till May Refer My S.B.A/c No.10912165044)
Superannuated by May and receiving Pension with DP & DA from June.
My Basic Pension was revised in Sixth Pay commission as Rs.10395/- from January.
The arrears were calculated by the Bank and deposited the first installment of Rs.21578/-in November.
The difference of amount is arrived as if I was receiving DP & DA with Basic pension for the period from Jan.2006 to May.
Kindly go thru my Passbook, whereas it is evident that I was only drawing an amount of Rs.4599/- for the above period. (No DP & DA paid to the prorate pensioners)
Hence The actual difference to be arrived as first instalment is Rs.75774/- (The total arrears works to be Rs.189435/-)
I request you to rectify the error in the arrears calculation to my account and pay me the actual amount immediately.
It is not fair on the bank part to delay for more than a year to settle this problem putting a senior citizen in such a difficult state.
I would again request you to attend this problem immediately and pay me the actual amount.
