The first thing that strikes in their Website is the ‘Nearly lost life of the founder and then he dedicated his school to the kids’ – RIDICULOUS!!! This is a beggar sentiment of catch the attention of people and take money!!!
You will not say this if you see him. He is a PIG who wants money, money and only money. The first thing you expect from a leader is simplicity…But he begs and bargains with everyone for money…you may say that’s to develop the school…well fine…if that’s the case, why does he drive a Merc!!!
And then now in the name of joint Venture, they have sold part of the school to Confident Group which is a notorious Real Estate Company in Bangalore….
The first experience starts with you approaching the school for admission. You will be asked to fill a form and drop it. You will promptly get a reply within a few days that you do not file the bill!! You will be prompted to call them to find out what went wrong (what would go wrong with the application form afterall) and then you will be told to call back later..later and later and finally you will be asked to meet the PIG (the prinicipal)
The first question he will ask is – What can you do for the school – Can you buy us, *******’. This could literally be anything!!! This is apart from the donation..well…I forgot to say the donation here is not negotiated….well its called joining fees and they never mention till u pay the feels…this way the PIG takes 2 donations from you….One donation without bill and another with bill!!! The innocent parents think they have already given the donation but will get a shocker later on in the name of 'joining fees'
In my case, I was asked to come for a orientation session with some more parents... Little did I expect that I am going to be charged for a sales lecture…that idiot charged me 3000 rupees for that…and that too non-refundable!!!
The quality of education – well…its good!!! You would not have expected this…but I am honest you know…..But is it worth the fees – NO….
They want pupils to leave the school in between so that the seats can be sold to the innocent NRIs etc., who want to join in between…He ventures into this as much as possible... for example, the fees for the next academic year has to be paid by Jan 31st this year. This is another way to ensure that if people have to leave, they do not get the money back!!! - The bill clearly says that!!! Also this happens at a time when parents cannot look for other schools...
Also for School Uniform for a 1st standard kid - its 10, 000 rupees... what the HELL... In India its still a lot of money man!!! You still get a meter of good cloth for 150 bugs and max 100 bugs for stitching!!!
And Food - Its mandatory to eat the food that he gives in school and you needs to pay in 'ADVANCE' for that for one whole year... Rs 40 per plate per day for one year!!! How much can a 5 yr old eat???
There is no proper canteen and pupils have to eat in the open..there are kids waiting for their turns for plates and this is not what you would need your kids to do..do u??
So guys beware of GEAR FOUNDATION!!! It’s a RIP OFF….
