Our microwave oven got spoilt about 6 months ago. We were asked to contact customer care and the routed the complaint to an outsourced agency.

- After 4 weeks of followup a technician finally came home. Not only was he rude but he was not happy that we asked for his ID card either. He opened the oven and said a part was to be replaced and he will come in 24 hours.

- The 24 hours ended up in 3 weeks. He finally came and to beat it with the wrong part. He again went and appeared after 1 week and replaced the part.

- This costed us around Rs.2500.

- After using it for 4 days it again got spoilt and there was a huge spark and smoke from the oven.

- Then we again followed up and got the part replaced, this took another month, we were asked to pay again, but we did not.

- Again after a few days there were sparks and smoke, and now the machine will work only for 3 minutes. Then it needs to be put off for 10 minutes and then again it works for 3 minutes.

- It has been 2 months since we complained, no one cares.

I wish this company goes down the drain. When we call them, they say call customer care, which is an outsourced firm and they just dont care. PLEASE NEVER BUY IFB PRODUCTS IN BANGALORE, THE SERVICE IS OUTSOURCED AND RESPONSE IS EXTREMELY POOR. I finally tried to reach someone in the company, but the call never gets connected beyond the reception.
