I bought a Microwave Oven Model : 20 PG1S from Vijay Electric Co. on 15-11. From October it is not working and we registered a complaint with the regional company service mechanic. As per him the problem is with the control board which is to be replaced but orginal spares was not available then. After a month's time the mechanic came back with a spare control board saying that the cost is Rs 3500 . As we found this very expensive for an old machine, we dropped the idea of repairing it.
Now we would like to repair the same or shall we go in for a new one. Is there any exchange offer or shall we get it repaired at a cheaper rate? Waiting for your reply, I remain.
