Delay in id card

I applied for the post office id card on 13.07.09.I paid Rs.240 on the mentioned date in Thiruvottiyur post office. Till now i did not received any information from the post office. If i call through phone to the Ambattur head post office no responsible reply i got. Please intervene and do the needful to get my id card as early as possible.
