I had booked an order for Barbie sunglasses, barbie watch and croc sandals on the 19th of April through order ID 1005181139 and order no 67237. The order was placed on 19th of April and I received a confirmation with an order number on the 30th April stating that the order would be dispacthed shortly. Its 30th May today and I have still not received my products. I had called the customer care number at 0120-4112424 two weeks ago and I was informed the the products were out of stock but will be dispatched without fail in the next 7 to 10 days. When the products did not arrive, I called the customer care again today and I was once again told that the goods were out of stock and will be delivered in 7 to 10 days.
Its note worthy that my credit card was charged on the 19th April and I am yet to receive the products. What I am getting is some lame promises of delivery in 7 to 10 days everytime I call and this is making me feel frustrated. Even the customer care agent was not emphatetic about the situation and kept repeating in a cold tone that the product will be delivered in 7 to 10 days (which I dont believe now either)
When I had placed my order, I was mentioned that this was a special promotion. My question is, if Bag it Today did not have the products to deliver in even 45 days time, why did they even advertise this? I had trusted Bag it Today because of the India Today brand name and I feel let down. I have promised these products to my daughter and a cash refund at this stage does not help me.
I request someone to take this complaint seriously and redeem me out of this frustrating experience with Bag it Today.
