Dear Sir/Madam,
While taking membership, I was told that the club accepts only credit card payment. I did not have credit card. So they asked me to pay starting mnth fees thru debit card and said, that the membership will be pending till i dont provide credit card details. They have a policy to take carbon copy of the credit card. Due to this policy, none of my friend could give me their credit card. Now, on same day just after 2-3 hours I explained the reason that I am not getting credit card so please let me know another mode of payment. But they said, we accept only credit card. So I requested them to cancel the membership application and refund Rs. 5700/- (taken thru debit card) I paid. The sales person told me that since money was taken thru debit card so we cannot refund it. It has been more than a month I am trying to get money but now they say..its too late and we cannot refund. Even if, I have not used their Club for even a single day.
Please suggest how can they be punished and how can I get my money back.
