I tried to change my airtel number (9789894070) to tata docomo on 03.03.2011 due to unwanted balance deduction of several times.
now i cant even call for customer care too, my balance is in minus,
if i recharge they will took all the money...
i got Unique Porting Id (AT679369) on the same day at 07.56 P.M,
and again after that i got a msg mentioned "hi your request for MNP is registered Successfully. 1674891"...
so i believed that i'll be free from airtel hell but on 05.03.2011 i got a msg mentioned "ur port in request for mobile number 9789894070 has been rejected by ur service provider due to UPC mismatch.

i went to that shop and asked about the UPC mismatch but they told that airtel wont easily leave their customers to change to any other networks,
they adviced me to go and collect details from airtel showroom,
but am in a busy schedule i cant go anywhere...
the only thing i can do is to throw my airtel number and get a new tata docomo number...
its a hell...
govt ordered many things but they wont follow anything...
