Dear Respected Sir,
I the Undersigned Kasim M Muchhala would like to lodge Complaint against Loop Mobile for their clear violation of MNP Rules as provided under MNP Act.
I am a Loop Mobile user for the past 2 years, was very disappointed with their Service which mainly includes the weak network signals, However with the advent of MNP act I was pleased that atleast now my worries would end as i Would be able to convert to a better network service provider.
However When i furnished a request to convert to DOCOMO with my Unique porting code LM283154 with DOCOMO. However soon i got a call from Loop mobile that the request would be Rejected due to Contractual Obligation Violation. On further probation i enquired that as per LOOP mobile i cannot convert as i have been enrolled under MY GANG scheme of Loop Mobile. That not be all, they also placed and additional requirement-Completion of further 90 days after disengaging from 'MY Gang' before i can apply for MNP convertion.
I have read the MNP Act thoroughly and nowhere such specific conditions are mentioned. MNP Act only speaks about staying withvthe Service provider for a minimum period of 90 days. Being its customer for over 2 years i certainly qualify that condition. Being a Law student myself have a fair understanding of the provisions in the Act and hence i can certainly say that these additional stipulations are just dummy rules introduced by Loop mobile to retain their existing customers.
Im also pretty sure that many such customers would have been declined their right to convert through by MNP by loop Mobile through these additional conditions laid down by them. But due to lack of awareness about their rights they might surrender to such demands laid by the Telecom Service Provider. Hence my this complaint is also on behalf of such unknown customers. Hpoe an action would be taken at the earliest and my complaint would be appropriately redressed.
