Incorrect/Excess bill

Hi,

My Airtel no : 9874670006 (a/c no 115-100734461) and having problem since I took the connection.

Within 4 days STD facility was withdrawn as the outstanding bill crossed the credit limit i.e. even before making any STD calls.

In the first months bill (bill period 11 July to 10 Aug) it shown Rs 1107/- as outstanding.

Connect taken on 14th July

Connection activated 15th July

Customer verification by Airtel on 17th July.

Despite repeated reminder/followup with Airtel representatives Airtel did not pay any attention to rectifying the bill and still asking for the money.

I had no choice but to discontinue the connection.

Few weeks back Airtel Initiated petition for Lok Adalat for the same (P.L. Case No. 16357 of 2010). Hon'ble Judges rejected the case as the bills provided by Airtel incorrect and inappropriate. Airtel representative present also agreed that the bill is incorrect.

The Lok Adalat process initiated by Mr. Himadri Chakraborty (Himadri. [email protected]) and Mr. Chandrasekhar Sarkar (advocate).

Again Mr Chandrasekhar Sarkar sending letters that you've failed to settle the matter in Lok Adalat and still want to pursue legal action. Mr Sarkar or Airtel did not even bother to rectify the bills from their end.

Please advice whether I should approach to consumer court.
