Hi,
I activated my international roaming (IR) and made a deposit of Rs. 5000/ . I requested for deactivation of IR roaming and to adjust the deposit against my current month due of ~ 3000 which was due on 8th Sept. The request was made on 24th Aug. The executive informed that this is not possible and can only help me with refund.. I said to go ahead.. I was informed within 10 working days, my refund would be processed.
I followed up multiple time and after escalating to Nodal officer, received confirmation on 8th Nov, that its processed after adjusting my current month dues and cheque for remaining amount will be sent to me in form of cheque... I was surprised as my initial request to adjust was rejected saying its not in policy..
My Concern
1) Why was my initial request to adjust the payment was rejected and the same was done when I wanted refund?
2) Why there is so much delay in payment? Today is 18th Nov and I haven't received any refund.
I had escalated to Appellate Office as well but keep getting standard response that the refund is processed and I will receive it. Till today, no one has provided answers to my above questions..When I spoke with one of the Appellate executive (After multiple attempts), I was informed that Air tel has no policy on IR deposit refund and its on Air tel wish to process..
Really frustrated and annoyed with such attitude of Air tel.. Even Nodal and Appellate is also not efficient.. Really surprised if this is being informed to Manjula Menon.. I requested multiple times to connect them, but nothing happend..
