Dear Sir,
Enclosed herewith is my complaint pertaining to my experience with Kingfisher Airlines.
I had booked my ticket with Kingfisher Airlines - Details enclosed
1) Date of Booking - 14-04
2) Date of Travel – 30th April 11
3) MakeMyTrip Booking ID - NF251394860207
4) Airline PNR Number – IJEXRQ
5) Flight Details - Kingfisher Red IT3185
6) From Mumbai to Delhi
7) Passenger Name – Perminder Singh
I reported at the check in counter 1 hour before the scheduled departure of the flight. Yet I was refused by the Kingfisher official citing the reason that the flight check in has been closed and the flight is full. The official suggested that I should get my ticket reimbursed immediately. They handed over a slip which mentioned that i should get the refund from Make My Trip.
My key submission here is that
1. Despite following all the rules of travel, I was not allowed to board the flight and my ticket cancelled
2. I have not been given any reason whatsoever for not lettine me board the flight. How can the airline not let me board the flight when I have the ticket, report as per the scheduled time and follow all other rules prescribed.
3. I am bearing immense cost for buying another air ticket during the peak season, at a much higher cost, in addition to a major delay in personal agenda as I was to join an organization as an intern on 2nd June.
In this situation the best possible thing that I can do is to seek your intervention to get this issue resolved in the best possible way.
