Purifier not working properly

I purchased aquasure ivory DX from antriksh enterprises pathankot on 22/8/10 . My family is consuming unhealthy water since then. The reasons are as follows -

1-The purifier is not working since, installation even after complaining twice.

2-Both times the company officials visited and set right the water purifier but the problem persists.

3-The request for replacement of the product fell on deaf ears.

Is tap water the only solution?
