India Today Book club called me and offered me Phlips Home theater system. After remitting the money they have sent the product after two months. When i checked i found that the DVD player has no USB port as per the description of the tele caller. When i contacted them they told me they have no such products and if i am not satisfied i may return it by courier. When i asked them for reimbursement of courier charges and asked them to give in writing to refund all my money an dcourier charges without any deduction, they denied to give it in witing saying that it is against the company's policy. They are simply cheating people. Inspite of my repeated mailing they have not replied properly. As all the deal was done through mobile phone and credit card i have no prove with me that the telecaller had promised me Home theater system with USB so icannot go to consumer court. plz suggest what to do? i am not ready bear the loss.
