Dear Sir,
I had bought a 15 litre Bajaj geyser in November and it started giving problems within 1 year of installation ie. in Oct. Since it was under guarantee period, it was repaired free of cost.
Now, last week, 16-3-09, it started giving problems again - we get an electric shock in our taps, when the geyser is switched on. Since the 2 year guarantee period has expired, the authorised service agent wants us to spend Rs.2, 350 for spares and service, after inspection. We paid Rs100 to get it inspected.
Now, my question is:
1. what is the sureity that the product supplied was not faulty when purchased, since it has got faulty twice already within 28 months of purchase
2. is it worth spending nearly 50% of a new one, on repairs alone, especially when the co gives no guarantee on repairs.
3. what is the remedy if the company refuses to repair free of cost or does not reply at all.
Please advise.
Thanks and Regards
