On 9th of April I booked for a Artdinox Dinner set through web and paid Rs 5698 by credit card. On 30th April I received an SMS stating that the item has been dispatched thorugh speed post. But till end of May I didn't receive the item when enquired at 011 40502424 they informed me that it has been delivered. On enquiry at post office they informed me that there was an item POD no. ED 62418478/IN but it was returned and by mistake they had entered in their register as delivered. I spoke to the person in-charge at Book club Mr. Jitender on 20th of June he informed me that they will generate a new order no and deliver the item in a weeks time. But I am yet to receive the dinner set. Today when enquired he mentions that it will take another weeks time for dispatch. I am not very sure when I will get my purchased item. India book club is really taking people for a ride. It is very difficult to get in touch with the call center as that is the only source we have to enquiry.
I request every one of you who is reqding this complain not to place any order with India Book Club as I am not sure whether you will get what you have asked for and even after making payment.
I wish this complaint will have some bearing on the minds of India Book Club.
