I had made a transaction through India Today Book club on 23rd May. While processing online payment there was some problem and i got a message that the transaction is not completed. Soon, I got a call from ITBK office that my transaction was not complete and that i can do it on phone and i did the same. But soon after that i got a call from them that actually the internet transaction had also gone through, so if i would like to go ahead with both. I asked them to cancel one of them and refund the money, which they said will be done in 15 working day
(Surprisingly, even after that day I used to get calls from there call centre that my internet transaction was not completed and if I would like to complete the same)
However, till date i havent received my money back, even after repeated requests and complaints. The call centre is highly incompetent and rude and there is no system in place for me to escalate my complaint. I am seriously considering legal action against the company
