Dear Sir,
One telemarketing executive from INDIA TODAY BOOK CLUB contacted on my mobile and assured that on purchase of BOOKS of value Rs. 3198.00, I would get a holiday voucher for a couple & one child and that this would include airfare (to & fro) for the chosen destination as well as stay for three days & two nights.
I have received the books of same value but no holiday voucher with it.
The details shown are as under:
1. Invoice No. is: ORA090065653
2. Membership No. ITBC09107719
They have given a site www.bookstoday.in/promos.htm to claim my gift and voucher, but the site is not opening. They have given one Telephone No. 011-40502424 for assistance but only recorded message is heard and no executive is lifting the phone.
This has damaged the reputation of such a renowned organization in my mind. They should immediately rectify it or I will be forced to sue them in consumer forum.
