Dear Sir/Madam/others,
1. I have been shopping from ITBC for the three months for various products. The experience I have had with them is horrible. Their sales reps call time and again to trap the gullible customers by offering free gifts as well as cash awards upto Rs. 8 lacs. I have so far done online purchase from them to the tune of Rs.34, 000/-.
2. As their sales rep. guaranteed a cash award of minimum Rs.1 lac to a maxium Rs.8 lacs, if I buy one of the products being offered by them to be eligible for the so called cash award. I fell into the trap and ordered a Samsung mobile phone costing around Rs.14, 000/- and made the payment thru credit card. However, when I did not receive any e-mail from the ITBC for the confirmation of cash award, as committed by their sales rep., I got suspicious and called up their helpline service i.e. 011-40502424, from where I was told that such commitments are never made by their sales rep. I was stunned to learn that asked the helpline exe. to get my order cancelled and send my refund immediately. After doing a lot of communications with their different e-mail services, I was told that my order has been cancelled and I would get my refund within one week s time. But, almost 20 days have passed by, I did not get any refund nor any response from their end. I again contacted their helpline exe. who told me that my refund request has been processed only on 8th/9th of April. What I am told that it would take another 15-20 days to get my refund. Let me see whether it takes place.
3. Their sales reps have so far made a lot of commitments for free gifts such as diamond jewellary, sun glasses, holiday package, air tickets etc. But it is sad that nothing has been materialized as yet. And I have my own doubt whether these commitments are going to be met.
4. I cant say them to be a cheat but with the way their sales reps are selling the products with utterly false commitments will murder the faith of the customers and ultimately ITBC will lose its credibility and its compaign of online shopping shall be over sooner rather than later.
5. I do not know whether any senior officer / executive / CEO of ITBC knows what is happening under his very nose, if yes why is he not taking any remedial action.
6. Nevertheless, I just want my refund of Rs.13998/- immediately. My Membership ID is ITBC10321689 and the reference no. the ITBC Helpline gave to me is re10001294 .
