Bad response from customer care

I bought CDs from India Today Book Club and got a chance to claim free gift. When I logged on the site mentioned in the letter from the India Today Book Club, the system did not accept the details. So I called the customer care number, the representative told me that they will activate the unique code number within 48 hrs. It was not activated even after 2 days, so I called again, again got the reply - give us 48 hrs, we will activate it! Not this time too... Called them third time, still they have not activated it!! The customer care representatives seem to pass the time, instead of doing real work. They did not give my call to their senior, they out me on hold for almost 6 minutes, were very casual in giving the replies. Their attitude was very arrogant knowing that I can not do much from a long distance.

I hope some responsible person from India Today takes notice of my complaint.
