I have a Kenstar water purifier, model name is Le Pure.
Till now, had to call service people twice or thrice in 2 years for some or the other problem, which I think is ok. But the time they take to attend one service call is HORRIBLE.
This time they crossed the limit!!
I stay in Hyderabad and the number 30210888 which used to be their customer care number (on which I had registered complaints earlier) was always coming as engaged. I tried for 2 days and then directly called up their service center number which is in Ameerpet, this was on 25-Oct-08. They noted down my problem which was of heavy leakage in the purifier. They said their person will come within 2 days and gave me complaint num as 2598. Later I must have called 5 to 6 times as a reminder on their landline as well as the owners mobile number. Everytime I got an answer as tomorrow their person will come. Today is 11-Nov-08 and still there tomorrow hasn't come!!
When I visited their under construction web-site (what a company!!!), I got their updated customer care number where I have again formally given the complaint for my water purifier.
How utterly non-caring people has Kenstar appointed to run their service centers. Not once, when I called so many times in the last 15 days, did they give me their updated cust-care number where I could have formally given the service request. Instead they kept on giving false promises of coming tomorrow!!!
