Checkbook delivery

This is regards to the cheque book delivery, I requested for new cheque book and I got the intimation the cheque book is despatched to the address mentioned through courier.

The best part of the courier service is they come with cheque book on working day and working hours so I am not available at home but family member is there and he informs that he is not giving the cheque book and is returning the same to the bank.

Why send the cheque book via courier who is just making a visit without intention of delivery of the same?

If the courier wanted to deliver the book in person then he should have called me and set a time to come and deliver. Are the customers of ICICIbank supposed to take 10 days leave and sit at home for the cheque book delivery?

Other banks courier give chque book to the family members.

In overseas the courier will call the phone no and inform about the parcel accordingly.

Earlier email could be sent from ICICIbank online account to the account manager for the issues to be reported but now the page has been reprogrammed where only the pull down menu appears and cannot send any mail besides selecting the drop down selection.

Hope somebody from ICICIbank responds.
