Delayed Baggage Compensation

I travelled from NewYork to Dubai and Dubai to Hyderabad from Emirates Airlines on 31st Mar by EK 202 and EK 526 flights. When i landed in Hyderabad on 02nd Apr I found that my Baggage didn't arrive at all. I had checked in 5 bags and none of them arrived. After contacting the Emirates lost bag counter, I registered a complaint. On the same night i received a call from the Airlines and they conveyed that my baggage has arrived and next morning they will deliver it themselves at my residence, which they didn't do it. Till next evening 4:00 PM they kept calling me and telling that my bags will be delivered home and at 4:00 PM they convey that I'll have to come in-person for my luggage clearance. All of a sudden i had to hire a vehicle and that guy charged me Rs1600 for to and fro from Malkajgiri. I had made my trip to Bangalore for that evening to visit my parents for festival. At the last moment i had to cancel my trip because of the delay and misguiding from Emirates Airlines. I was promised of the Compensation of $50 per day upto 3 days. I received my bags in hand on the 2nd day of my arrival. I'm supposed to receive a compensation of $100 and 1600 for my transportation cost. The Emirates official who spoke to me also noted the same and now at the time of processing, she is saying that i can get only 1 days compensation and Rs 1200 for transportation. These guys go back on their own words and behave as if they are doing a favor to you.
