Delayed baggage

Dear Sir,

I regreat to state the undermentioned for your kind consideration. I travelled from London Heathrow to New Delhi IGI onboard AI 112 on 2 jul with two cheecked baggages. However when i reached delhi i was shocked to ascertain that one of my checked in baggage tag BA 539133 had not reached delhi. I reported the matter to baggage claim office and they issued me a PROPERTY IRREGULARITY REPORT and gave me a false hope that my baggage will reach my home address ASAP. Its 7 jul today and till to date i've not recieved my baggage. Due to this i was compelled to postpone my onward journey to my duty station.

I am a serving naval officer posted in far flung Andamans and Nicobar island and this unprofessional approach by the esteemed national airlines has caused me gross inconvineince and thus i belive that i should be compensated for this delay and in case if i dont recieved my baggage i should by paid for the loss and mental agony suffered.
