I am Jojo, residing in Australia. I used Infibeam online to send a few home appliances to India which included a microwave oven, water purifier and a refrigerator. All the payments were made online and I had selected the product online which at that time showed me that it was in stock. After waiting long for the refrigertor to be delivered and no updates from infibeam I contactacted them just to find that it was out of stock and I had to wait. I could not wait and I asked for a reund which was fair on my part because at the time of purchase and till now on their website the item is shown as IN STOCK. I was told that the refund will be done in 5 - 7 business days on 12/08. I had to ring the customer service plenty of times as the time period they told me was over and no refund done. I spoke to different people and some would just disconnect the phone when they knew it was me. In the meantime, the water purifier was delivered to my home in Kerala in a very poor condition. The ceramic filter was leaking and the top plastic part was broken. I contacted Infibeam again and was told that they needed a snapshot. I replied to them using email that I have elderly parents who cannot use the camera to take pictures but I did not get any reply. I am very upset because this is the firt time I ever used an online service and I realise that it is a sort of cheating the customers. I rang infibeam again today and I was told that the refund is not yet processed and its been more than 2 weeks now. My email id is [email protected]
