I got msg from The India Today Group on my mobile that I have been selected for free gift. Subsquently, I got a call to choose the gift and was asked to tell the size of Rebok shoes which will be supplied as grft with set of devotional CDs for which I will be charged. The parcel came and I had to pay VP charges for the cDs, which I paid. When I opened the parcel and to my surprise there was no gift, only CDs were there. On repeated calls till today I have not received the free gift, even after paying the set of CDs. After long persuation they ask me log on to a web site to claim the free gift. I could log on the website. and they indicated gift voucher for holiday trip and dimond jewellary. But to claim this voucher free holiday trip again one should send Rs 800 draft. Also to claim dimond jewelarry, when I visited the website, there was no item in that range of voucher therefore, I have to send additional money to claim this.
I feel there is mere cheating from Th India today group is going on. I still get repeated email and SMS for getting selected for free gift. I request you to take suitable action against the company and let innocent people do not fall in this trap.
