Dear sir,

i had ordered fo a art d inox dinner set in march. i recieved the set in may. but the set was recieved by me in a broken condition for which the same day i sent an email with the detailed description of broken items and also photographs of the broken items.

the items i have recieved in a broken condition are:

6 Dinner plates

1 rice plate.

i was promised that the replacement would be sent within 15 days!

but after a lot of calls and emails later, on 28/07/09 i recieved a packet from you for replacement of broken items.

but when i opened the packet it contained

1 Rice Plate

1 Dinner Plate instead of 6 Dinner Plates!!!

i immediately called up your customer care and was promised that the replacement would be sent in 15 days.

IT HAS BEEN ONE FULL YEAR SINCE I PLACED THE ORDER AND DESPITE HAVING SENT MORE THAN 200 EMAILS TO ALL KNOWN EMAIL ID'S OF INDIA TODAY GROUP INCLUDING CEO'S NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE. INFACT THEY DONT EVEN BOTHER TO SEND A REPLY LEAVE ALONE TAKE ANY ACTION!!

I HAVE MADE ATLEAST 100 PHONE CALLS AT MY OWN EXPENSE AS THEIR TOLL FREE NO IS ALWAYS OUT OF ORDER OR JUST DOES NOT CONNECT BUT NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE .

but going by my past experience i have no faith left in your services. kindly ensure timely delivery of the remaining dinner plates.

but i do have a few questions to ask

1) when i have sent details about the broken items not once but atleast 50 times why was only 1 dinner plate sent instead of 6 as should have been done??

2) who is responsible for sending these items and why was this blunder done??

3) what action would be taken against the erring employee who is responsible for the packing and dispatch??

4) how do you plan to compensate me for the time wasted in sending you the emails regularly and the time and money spent on making calls to your call centre???

5) how do you plan to compensate me for the fact that i have still not been able to use the dinner set till today despite having made the payment by credit card on 23/03/09??

6) why should i not contemplate taking legal action against you for the same reasons???

kindly answer these questions and give a satisfactory reply.

I WOULD WELCOME GUIDANCE FROM OTHER CONSUMERS IN ORDER TO INITIATE LEGAL PROCEEDINGS AGAINST THIS BOGUS FIRM. INFACT A PIL WOULD BE BETTER CONSIDERING THE LARGE NO. OF PEOPLE THEY HAVE DUPED.
